Privacy Policy
Our games are currently in development. Game-related disclosures below describe planned features and services. They do not mean those services run on this website.
1. Scope and contact
This policy explains how Kaya Cited LLC (“Kaya Cited”, “we”, “us”, or “our”) handles information through kayacited.com and the mobile games that link to this policy. Kaya Cited LLC is responsible for the information it handles through these services and is the data controller where applicable data protection law uses that term. Advertising, purchase, platform, and hosting providers also process information as described below.
For privacy questions or requests, email business@kayacited.com. We will review this policy against each game’s actual features and services before release and update it when our practices change.
2. Information from this website
The website itself does not use analytics, advertising scripts, cookies, or browser storage. It does not ask you to create an account or make payments.
Like other websites, delivery of these pages requires the hosting infrastructure to receive technical request information such as your IP address, the requested page, browser information, and request time. The hosting service may process request logs for delivery, security, and troubleshooting. Hosting-level processing depends on the service used to serve the website.
The email links open your chosen email application. Your email service handles the draft under its own practices. If you send the email, Kaya Cited receives your email address, message, and any details or attachments you choose to include, and uses them to respond and handle your enquiry.
3. Information in our planned games
Local progress, without a Kaya Cited account
Our planned games do not require a Kaya Cited account or provide Kaya Cited cloud saves. Progress, settings, in-game currency balances, and the age information described in section 8 are intended to be saved locally on your device. Your operating system may provide separate device backup features. Advertising and purchase services may process information independently of these local saves.
Advertising
Our games are designed to use Google AdMob to provide in-game advertising. Whether ads are shown, and which kinds, depends on the player’s age group as described in section 8. Where ads are shown, and depending on the platform, service configuration, permissions, and privacy choices, Google may process:
- IP addresses and approximate location inferred from them;
- Advertising identifiers and other device or app identifiers;
- Device, operating system, application, and network information;
- App and advertisement interactions, such as views, taps, and ad engagement;
- Diagnostics, performance information, and fraud-prevention signals.
This information is used for ad delivery, personalization where permitted, measurement, reporting, service improvement, security, and fraud prevention.
We may add AppLovin MAX, an advertising mediation service, to a game in a future update. A mediation service connects a game to additional advertising partners; the partners enabled in a released game determine which providers receive information. If we add it, AppLovin and other advertising providers may collect, use, and share personal data to deliver interest-based ads and improve advertising services, and third-party measurement providers participating in the Open Measurement Working Group may also receive and process personal data to measure advertisements and provide related services. The age-based limits in section 8, or stricter ones, will still apply, and we will update this policy before such a change takes effect.
In-app purchases
Our games are designed to use RevenueCat to validate purchases, deliver what you bought, and restore one-time purchases. Payments themselves are handled by the App Store or Google Play; Kaya Cited does not receive your payment card information.
When a game that offers purchases starts, RevenueCat receives a randomly generated app user identifier that is not linked to your name or to any account, together with the products the game offers and your purchase history in that game (product, transaction and receipt details, and purchase status). Technical information such as your IP address, device and operating system type, app version, locale and currency is processed when the game connects to the service. We configure RevenueCat not to collect advertising or device identifiers, and we do not send it attribution data, customer attributes or information from other services.
This information is used only to process, deliver, restore and support purchases, and to prevent fraud. It is not used for advertising or to build a profile of you.
4. Service providers and their policies
These are the services our games use or currently plan to use. Their policies explain their own handling of information and available privacy choices:
- Google Privacy Policy — Google AdMob advertising. See also how Google uses information from apps that use its services.
- Apple Privacy Policy — iOS features such as App Tracking Transparency.
- AppLovin Privacy Policy — AppLovin MAX advertising and mediation, if added in a future update.
- RevenueCat Privacy Policy — purchase validation, delivery and restore.
Your app store, operating system, and any external websites you visit have their own privacy policies. We will update the relevant privacy information if a game introduces additional services or mediation partners.
5. How information is used and shared
Information is used to operate and improve our services, answer enquiries, provide advertising, administer purchases, resolve issues, prevent fraud, and comply with legal obligations. Service providers may process information on our behalf or for their own disclosed purposes. Information may also be disclosed when required by law or reasonably necessary to protect legal rights or service security.
Where applicable law requires a legal basis, processing may rely on providing requested services, legitimate interests such as security and support, compliance with legal obligations, or consent where required. Where processing relies on consent, you can withdraw it without affecting prior lawful processing.
Advertising-related disclosures may qualify as a sale, sharing, or targeted advertising under some privacy laws. Available choices depend on your region, platform, and the released game’s configuration. Service providers may process information in countries other than your own; their policies describe applicable transfer arrangements.
6. Retention and security
Correspondence is retained for as long as needed to address your request, maintain necessary records, resolve disputes, or meet legal obligations. Local game data remains subject to your device’s storage and backup settings. Purchase and advertising records are subject to their purpose, the applicable provider’s practices, and legal requirements; removing a game does not automatically delete those records.
The website does not store your game saves or payment details. Security also depends on the hosting, email, app-store, and other services involved. No internet service or device storage can be guaranteed completely secure. Please do not include passwords or payment card details in support messages.
7. Your choices, rights, and deletion requests
Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, or receive a copy of your information; restrict or object to processing; withdraw consent; or opt out of certain advertising-related uses. You may also complain to your local data protection authority.
- Privacy requests: email business@kayacited.com. Include the game name and what you are requesting. If available, a relevant app identifier or transaction reference may help locate information. We may ask for reasonable verification before fulfilling a request.
- Local game data: clearing app data or removing the game can remove local progress. Backups may need to be managed separately using your device or backup provider’s settings.
- Provider-held data: removing local game data does not erase information held by advertising, purchase, or platform providers. Contact us for help with requests related to our games; you may also use the relevant provider’s privacy process.
- Advertising choices: use the privacy choices made available in a game, including a Privacy choices option in its settings where one is offered, and your device’s advertising or tracking controls. Declining personalized advertising does not necessarily remove ads or prevent all processing needed to deliver them.
There is no Kaya Cited account to close in our planned games. Some records may be retained where necessary for legal obligations, security, or purchase administration. We will handle requests in accordance with applicable law.
8. Ages, children, and policy updates
Some of our games, such as Scroll Thief, are made for players of all ages. Others may be intended for players aged 13 and older; each game’s store listing shows its age rating. A game made for all ages asks for the player’s birth month and year the first time it is opened, and uses the resulting age group to provide an age-appropriate experience, including whether ads are shown and what protections apply to them. Age-related privacy protections and consent requirements can vary by location.
The age question
The question is neutral and has no pre-filled answer, and the answer is remembered rather than asked again. Your birth month and year stay on your device and are not sent to Kaya Cited or to advertising partners. Ad requests carry only the age-related settings described below.
What changes with your age group
- Under 13, or age not yet known: no ads are shown, and the game does not start its advertising service or request ads. Optional reward videos are replaced with a small daily gift.
- 13 to 17: ads may be shown, but only non-personalized ads. These ad requests carry Google’s age-treatment setting for younger users, which turns off personalized ads and remarketing and applies Google’s extra protections for younger users. The game does not show advertising consent forms or Apple’s tracking permission prompt to these players.
- 18 and older: ads may be shown. Where required, the game asks for your consent, such as in the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom, and Switzerland, and, on iOS, asks for Apple’s tracking permission. Where U.S. state privacy laws apply, you can opt out through the Privacy choices option in the game’s settings. Ads are personalized only where your choices and applicable law allow it.
Wherever ads are shown, they are limited to Google’s PG (parental guidance) content rating or lower.
In-app purchases and younger players
In-app purchases are available in every age group. They are completed through the App Store or Google Play, where a parent or guardian can require approval first (for example Apple’s Ask to Buy or Google Family Link); a purchase waiting for approval is delivered only once the store confirms it. For players under 13, the purchase information described in section 3 is processed only to support the game’s internal operations — processing, delivering and restoring purchases and preventing fraud — and is not used for advertising, profiling or to contact a child. Remove Ads is not offered to players under 13, because they see no ads.
Apart from that limited purchase information, we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you are a parent or guardian and believe a child has provided personal information through our services, contact business@kayacited.com so we can investigate and take appropriate action.
We may update this policy as our games and services develop. The effective date above identifies the current version. We will provide additional notice or obtain consent when required by applicable law.
